Rodgie Re-writes the Record Book
Date of Event : Sun Feb 11, 2018 12:35AM

Mosman Premier Cricket 1st grade captain Scott Rodgie scored his 3rd century of the season with 126 against Gordon today.

A faultless performance, top scoring in Mosman's 6-358, but this was much more significant.  In taking Rodgie past 5,000 career runs in Premier Cricket, it also took him to 1017 runs for the season.

The record for the most runs in the season by any Mosman player in the club's 110 years stood at 985, held for the last 76 years by the late Test batsman Stan McCabe, from the 1941 - 42 season

Scott became the first Mosman player to pass 1,000 runs in a season, with 2 rounds still remaining.

An outstanding achievement!   Every member of the club congratulates Scott for his stellar year.
