Coaches are given liberty to determine their own selection criteria for each of the four MCC team awards. However there are some basic conventions that will assist coaches for U10 to U16.

If equal aggregate runs, then best batting average.

Team Bowling Award:

A specific MCC Juniors criteria that will be enforced is that no player wins more than one Team Award in order to share recognition amongst a minimum of four players per team. NSJCA Awards
The NSJCA conducts a presentation day at the conclusion of the season that includes a number of awards that are specified in the NSJCA Blue Book.
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS AND TROPHIES
Awards are made in all U10 to U16/17 competitions to the players who, at the completion of the
competition rounds have:
The highest aggregate runs
The highest average runs
The lowest strike rate per wicket (number of balls bowled per wicket taken)
The lowest average runs per wicket subject to meeting the meeting the minimum standards set out below:
Players in all U11 to U16/17 competitions are eligible to win the Association Wicket Keeping trophy for their competition. (No wicket keeping trophies are awarded in the U9 or U10 age groups because teams generally rotate wicket keeping duties amongst several players.) Subject to meeting the minimum requirement, a trophy is awarded to the wicket keeper in each competition
who accumulates the most points over the competition rounds on the following basis:
3 points for each catch
4 points for each stumping
minus 0.2 points for each bye conceded.
The minimum number of wicket keeping points in order to qualify for a wicket keeping trophy is 40 for all age groups.
It is desirable that there is a winner of each award and trophy in each competition every season.
Therefore, the Management Committee may, at its discretion, vary the criteria for the individual awards and trophies. (For example, if no player meets the minimum requirement for a batting award in a particular competition, the Management Committee may reduce the requirement in order to make an award. Similarly, if an abnormal number of rounds have been washed out, the Management Committee may reduce the qualifying levels for one or more of the awards.)
Awards will be based on individual statistics submitted via the MyCricket website. If MyCricket does not facilitate the recording of byes against more than one wicket keeper used in the same match, the Management Committee may choose to ignore the deduction for byes conceded for the purposes of determining the wicket keeping awards.
